- A crossed-out battery symbol indicates low battery. Please replace the battery.

- Place the scale on a clean, flat surface before use.
- This is a high-precision instrument; do not subject it to heavy pressure or drop.
- Avoid placing it in environments with drastic temperature and humidity changes.
- Wipe the scale with a soft cloth when dirty; do not use chemicals. Avoid water entering the scale body.
- Remove the batteries if the scale will not be used for an extended period.
